Nursery Update

well, i just typed a nice long blog and then did something stupid and lost the whole thing. Seriously, I am not happy. So here is the shortened version.

Saturday we ran around and got tons of things accomplished for Christmas and the nursery. We had gotten a remnant of carpet that needed a bit of patchwork to get it to fit the room better so we did that Friday night. The Internet connection was moved into our room and we hung a nice red curtain. Keith really wanted to see more of the colors, etc in the room so we picked up a few things from BabiesRUs.

I finally made a decision about what type of chair to get for the room. LazyBoy it is. I can't do it justice to try and explain the ordeal it has been for me to finally decide and move on. http://www.la-z-boy.com/furniture/product.aspx?pid=12 The chair we ordered is the one in the link but the fabric will be a light brown. It will be a race to see what gets here first - baby or the chair.

Bellini called and they will be delivering the furniture on Monday!!!! We can't wait. I am sure we will continue the work on the nursery once there is actually furniture - we can hang the wall stuff, get the bedding, wash what stuff we have already gotten and organize the room. Fun stuff. We also have to fix the spare bedroom because right now it looks terrible because everything out of the office is in there and anything else we have to clean out.

The weather was yucky yesterday but that did not stop Keith from playing in his flag football league's semi final championship game. Fortunately it worked out well and Black&Silver will be going for the gold on Sunday. It might be the last competitive football game Keith plays since age has caught up with him....so I will bundle up as well and possible and lay off the fluids so I can make it through two hours outside in the Bronx along the Hudson River - burrrrrr.
