Friday was the beginning of my weekly doctor appointments. As Keith likes to say, the doctor "went under the hood" to check my progress. The head is down. My cervix has softened which he said was good at this point and is still thinking a week early. Now, we all know this baby has a mind of it's own so God and baby are the only ones who know when we will be blessed with the arrival.
I am measuring on track, weight is okay considered all of the swelling - however I swear to all who will listen that I will never weigh this much again in my life. I am having some cramping and random contractions but nothing to get excited about.
The car seat is in the car - we just need someone to check it out. Btw, our car was made the year before the Latch system was required....I am not happy about it but what can we do. I am not nuts enough to think we need a new car. I am sure it will be fine.
Thursday my office gave me a baby shower since I will be working from home from now on they had to do it now I guess. It was nice and thoughtful of all of them to pool together for some baby stuff. We were very happy with the gifts.
My chair is in but can not be delivered until the 26th - which stinks because I could sit in it while I work at home. Keith bought me a very nice lap desk thing from Brookstone to help me be comfortable while working from home. It would defeat the purpose if I sat at the kitchen table all day since sitting at my desk is killing me.
Next doctor appointment is Wednesday - short week this week but then the following Wednesday is the doctor and an ultrasound so that is exciting.

Very exciting, Dawn! I will be thinking about you as you become closer to holding that sweet baby in your arms!
I am so excited for you both! Being a mother is one of the greatest joys you will ever experience! I can't wait to meet your precious child. (I will make my mom's noodles if it will get you back here quicker. :))
Congrats on the babys arrival!
Candice & I will be up Mar.25-29, so we will be by to see you guys and the new member of the family.
